We received a 3 hour window the day prior to each delivery and pickup date. The POD was spotless, and the drivers were all professional and helpful. We will use PODS for phase II of our move.

The 12-footer works well for our move. The truck was clean and in good condition. We booked and picked up the truck at Home Depot that's close to the storage unit where we unload our stuff. We chose Penske due to the distance between the storage unit and our apartment.

Perfect for my move I didn't want the hassle of renting a moving truck, packing the truck, unloading it again at a storage unit and paying for the additional storage unit.

I pickup the 20 ft truck on Friday afternoon and dropped it back at the rental agency Saturday afternoon. The truck was clean and functioned well. I would recommend anyone moving to rental furniture blankets, they were very useful in our move.

Must say through all our travel moving troubles Penske did stay on top of our issues. So very cold in early January, the diesel trucks just had problems. We were continually in contact with the Penske representatives. Finally arrived at destination 2 days later than expected, but safe. Very good service from Penske. We commend them on the professional and ethical attitude they exhibited on our "eventful" move.

Could not have asked for anything more from Pack Rat. These people are all so friendly and helpful to see that everything I needed was available. I had to change shipping and receiving dates several times due to a delay in closing on my new home. They were more than helpful and available to help as I needed. Even the drivers who picked up and delivered my containers were very friendly and polite. Very pleased with Pack rat services.

We reserved our truck a couple of months in advance, and when we went to pick it up the morning of our move, it wasn't there. The previous user dropped it off at the wrong location. While this did delay us a couple of hours, the person we spoke to at the company quickly found us another truck at another close location. We ended up moving with a brand new truck that was in excellent condition. The flat-rate rental price was a great option that allowed for flexibility in our schedule and beat all competitors' prices. Returning the truck was a quick process as well. Even though there was an issue at the beginning of our move (which was at no fault of the company), they did everything they could to resolve the issue quickly and the rest of our move was smooth. I would use them again.

Over two hours past the four hour time frame for dropping off container (that was on one side). For the next part they were 20 minutes early, before their two hour time frame. Drivers were polite and helped with bulkhead and were able to give good information.

ABF provided a great alternative to the rent, load, drive and unload outfits I've used in the past - and the cost was the same, without having to do all the distant driving. The trailer was clean and well kept for loading and I was given more than ample time to load. Upon arrival they placed the trailer right where I needed it, making unloading a breeze. Great service all around.

This is the second time I have moved with ABF. The first time, I rented a partial trailer for a NYC-Denver move, and this time I used a Relocube for a Denver-Baltimore move. Everyone has been terrific to work with, from the origin and destination centers to the cube pick-up/delivery people to the customer service staff. The price is unbeatable; I compared them to PODS and U-Haul cubes, to self-driving with Penske, U-Haul, Budget, and to moving companies Broadway and Mayflower. My move was unusual in that I required one month's storage in Baltimore--ABF's low price was due to their competitiveness on the cost of both the cube and the storage. When I moved with the partial trailer in 2012, I found that multiple items were cracked or broken. This was entirely my own fault for (a) not packing well and (b) not supervising the people I'd hired to load. So if you rent a partial trailer, make sure you follow tips on packing and also get movers familiar with packing freight trailers and tying down stuff. In the cube, nothing got damaged; it was packed full and I used copious amounts of newsprint and bubblewrap. Two minor things--the size of a Relocube is smaller than that of other cubes I looked at, so with my very full one-bedroom apartment it was unclear whether I would need two cubes. A slightly larger cube would have been helpful and allowed me to take a few more things (which I ended up giving away instead--such as a mattress filing cabinet, and shelving unit). ABF will deliver two cubes for you but only charge you for one if that's all you use, which is great--no additional delivery or pick-up charge. A small issue--though I had called to let the origin site know that I used only one cube, both ended up getting shipped and charged. Customer service was really great about tracking down the extra and refunding the charge. Because of my great experience with them before, I was not anxious about getting this sorted out. I am very pleased with ABF.
