Moving Containers

I have used Pack Rat several times in the past and will continue to solicit their services when needed. The delivery person called to let me know when he would be arriving and performed his job flawlessly!

Kept informed throughout the moving process, from scheduling to completion of move. It was great working with PODS. They are professional, no hard selling, no hidden fees, and easy to make changes in service and product.

Good value, good service. I wish I could know the delivery window earlier than the night before,. I was also surprised to learn that there are no pick-ups or deliveries on Wednesdays, so plan accordingly.

PODS is such a cost-effective and practical way for major moves :) ! It's also really nice that the POD container is parked at one of the PODS warehouses until you get to your destination. Then it gets released to your destination once you are there, which really helps for peace of mind that it doesn't arrive at your new location before you do :) !

Trucks and trailers were great, a little hard to schedule the unloads, but we figured it out. I’d suggest not working with Moving Staffers, their scheduling is hard and inflexible and they add fees to changes.

As stated above when the 16' POD arrived is looked smaller than we expected. My huband measured it and it was 20% smaller than expected as compared to the website's dimensions. As we read more closely, the description did say "outside dimensions." When we spoke to customer service my husband explained that the website is there for the customer. Customers need to know the inside dimensions and many would do what we did; assume the measurements shown are for the interior. We suggest strongly that the website be accurate to what the customer needs to know.

Not only received great service when booking the order, but perfect on time deliveries and pick ups of the containers. Great pricing when compared to other services.

Phone contacts were real good. Details covered well. They adjusted for my changes. I added a POD to the order. The 12 foot container was not available.

U-pack was not only cheaper than uhal and PODs but they also delivered a lot faster. They process was supper easy, very communitive which was super helpful since I was moving to a different state.

Great moving option for me, kept in touch, advised what I needed to do, arrived at destination on time. Called and advised when cube was empty and duly uplifted.

UPack was great! Also the attention in Florida was awesome. I wish I could say the same thing about their service in Connecticut which is why I'm not giving them a 5.

This was the best way to do our move from PA to AZ. The boxes were able to be stored until we were able to get into our new house. The cost was very reasonable.

They did a great job of getting the containers where they needed to be, on time and no damage. The price is definitely right. Keep in mind that you have to fold all the blankets, 24 per pod, or they charge $2 each. $13 if you happened to lose one.

Highly recommend if you are going to go with a container system. Cost effective for our out of state move. We did not take all of our large furniture and appliances, but had a lot of woodworking equipment and tools.

I chose SmartBox via Allied Van Lines because of my previous experience with Allied. From the beginning my moving coordinator, Ms. Latoya White, patiently answered all of my questions and make inquiries within the company on my behalf. The driver who delivered my container (Andre) was very helpful and remained in touch throughout the process. My only area of concern is that the size of the container was a little smaller than expected for a one bedroom apartment with furniture. I had to leave things behind (which I reconciled with the thought so it ended up being okay).

I liked Zippy shell because they deliver where I want to go. I am concerned that the packrat handlers have less concern about my property than perhaps zippyshell would. If everything arrives intact I will give them five stars.

Loved working with SmartBox-cancelled PODS when they did not show up after the date and time scheduled-glad they did as SmartBox was better priced and reliable!

The move and storage were extremely easy and simple. However, the end warehouse originally delivered an empty shell to my home as they were not aware they were to be delivering my possessions. This eventually ended being a situation of my shells not being labeled with my name or any sort of identifiable number that would tie it to me. I ended up having to reschedule my movers to accommodate the delayed delivery.

Go Mini's really saved the day. This was much better than renting a truck and hauling all my possessions back and forth between my house, a personal storage unit and then to our new house. Worth every cent. The drivers were extremely professional, punctual and skillful at dropping off and picking up the containers at my homes. Dean, Jason and Mark: you rock! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Lorie was like my own logistics coordinator, always working to meet my moving objectives. The Go Mini's team worked around MY schedule, dropping off and picking up containers as I needed. They had ready access to a seemingly unlimited number of containers. My furniture and belongings arrived no worse for the journey. I highly recommend Go Mini's Simi Valley whenever you need to move or store anything.

We are using their smaller 12 foot container to store furniture and belongings prior to showing the house. The driver arrived on-time and was very professional and careful in the placement of the unit. The unit itself appears almost new, it is sturdy and has great capacity. When full they will pick it up, store it on their site for future delivery. I will update the review when we receive it at our new home. (local move)

The Pod was clean. The customer service was great letting me know when it would be delivered and pick up. I looked at reviews on this company. I would use this service again if needed.

David at Go Mini was the most accommodating service provider I have used. I was moving across town and he facilitated the transfer of storage unit almost to the minute! Will definitely refer him to my other friends...

Go Mini's was very flexible with our entire move! We had a 1 week layover between closings, and this made it so easy to store our entire household! We changed the delivery and pick up times more than once, and they were always able to accommodate! Holly in the office and the driver, Ron, were both extremely helpful and very friendly!

Zippy shell dropped containers off on multiple days and worked around my schedule...they gave me 3 containers one month storage for each and delivery of all 3 for around 1k

Aside from a one day delay in picking up the loaded pod and a one day delay in picking up the emptied pod, everything went well and it even arrived ahead of schedule.

The containers are made of plywood covered with some sort of canvas tarp. Not as good as PODS but adequate, and certainly a lot less expensive. They arrived I time. The service staff is a dream to work with.

It was a little difficult to work around the company's M-F container delivery window. But, in both pick-up and drop-off instances the delivery drivers were friendly and very quick.

Steve was wonderful to work with. He and his employee were professional, patient, kind, and very flexible. We ran into a little problem and they were very helpful and kind about offering a solution. They were extremely hard working , and made an otherwise stressful move go much smoother. I will use them every time I move from now on, and I highly recommend that you do to. The office staff was also very kind to work with. Overall, it was a great experience.

Great price, great service! My delivery guy, James, was amazing and very helpful, as was the local owner, Ned.I only ordered 2 boxes for this move, but would have been more successful with 3. 2 was not enough for a 2 bedroom. I haven't had my boxes delivered yet, as they are still en route, but I have every confidence the remainder of the process will go as well as the first half. Highly recommend!
